MERZ RADIESSE 1,5cc + LIDOCAINE
The injectable implant RADIESSE® (+) Lidocaine is indicated for plastic and reconstructive surgery, in particular for volume augmentation of the deep dermis and subcutaneous dermis of the facial area, and also for restoring and correcting loss of facial volume.
The injectable implant RADIESSE® (+) Lidocaine is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, semi-solid and cohesive implant. Its main component is synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite suspended in a gel excipient mainly composed of water (Sterile Water for Injection, USP), glycerol (USP), sodium carboxymethylcellulose (USP) and 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride. The gel disperses in vivo and is replaced by soft tissue regeneration, while the calcium hydroxylapatite remains at the injection site. Lidocaine produces the effect of a short-term local anesthetic. The tissue restoration and volumizing effect obtained, although long term, is not permanent. The calcium hydroxylapatite particle size of RADIESSE® (+) Lidocaine Injection (1.5cc and 0.8cc) ranges from 25 to 45 microns and should be injected with a 25G (outer diameter) / 27G (inner diameter) needle with a standard Luer Lock connector. USE/INDICATIONS The injectable implant RADIESSE® (+) Lidocaine is indicated for plastic and reconstructive surgery, particularly for volume augmentation of the deep dermis and subcutaneous dermis of the facial area, and also for restoring and correcting facial volume loss.
